Farmer's Market Dresses - so so cute!

These dresses are both a size 4-5 using Pink Fig's The Lily Dress/Top pattern and in Sandi Henderson's most beautiful Farmer's Market fabric I bought from the US. I have used 3 different pieces for each dress and they are both 'one-off's'. I doubt I will make these again completely using designer fabric for the whole dress. They are very special!

Both dresses are shirred with 4 rows around the neck, sleeves and chest, have a large ruffle hem and have a co-ordinating sash which is not needed to wear the dress, so it can be removed.

All seams are finished over-locked and the hems around the sleeves, neck and bottom are double rolled, pressed and stitched. They measure 62cm from the top of the sleeve to the hem line and 43cm around the unstretched shirred chest area. The pattern states they fit a 21-22 inch wasit and a 24-25 inch chest. Pink Fig says this dress/top can be worn alone as a dress or with pants or jeans underneath. $50 each and I have 2 available, pictured below.
